The Bridger, Madison and Gallatin Mountain ranges surround Bozeman, Montana offering a tremendous variety of world-class recreational opportunities that include: whitewater rafting and kayaking, blue ribbon fly fishing, rock climbing, hiking, camping, mountain and road biking, wildlife viewing, and more . . . not to mention easy access to near-by Yellowstone National Park.
Bridger Bowl does not operate any lifts during the summer. Trails are open to hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding in Gallatin National Forest.
The summer season at Bridger Bowl surrounds our mid-mountain Deer Park Chalet and the Jim Bridger Base Lodge. Both of these facilities are available for special parties, weddings, meetings and banquets between mid-June and late September each summer. Bridger Bowl is located 16 miles north of Bozeman on State Highway 86 - Bridger Canyon Road. The Bridger Bowl access road is located near the 16 mile marker on the left-hand side of the road coming from Bozeman. The summer road to Deer Park Chalet continues up the mountain just north of the Jim Bridger Lodge in the base area.
