A special 1 hour introduction to skiing for children 3-4 years of age. $80 includes unlimited chair lift access.

One child only. Additional children require a separate instructor.

Daily at 9 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m.

This private lesson is specially designed to present skiing to young children. We recognize that preschoolers do best with one-on-one attention. The instructor will use a hands-on approach catered to your child's needs. This may include snow play on skis for the hesitant child or rapid progression to the Snowflake beginner chair lift for the go-getter.

First Tracks are for children 4 to 6 years old of all ability levels. Your children will love to ski when they participate in our Playcare First Tracks program. Our cheerful and bright Playcare room in Saddle Peak Lodge is full of crafts, games, activities and an outside area to enjoy snowplay when not skiing. Your child will be assigned to one of our friendly children's instructors for morning and afternoon group lessons. Reservations are required and may be made at the Playcare Center or by calling (406) 556-5665. Copy of birth certificate may be requested.

A First Tracks "lesson only" is available through the Playcare for $37 on a space available basis. However, we recommend including at least half day Playcare with the lesson as described above, so that your child may return to Playcare if cold or tired and to extend your personal time on the slopes.
