About our Weather Data Collection Methods

Weather data, with the exception of base area temperature, is collected from automated sources near the top of the Bridger and Alpine lifts and is subject to mechanical and climatological variables. There can be significant variations in the accuracy of the data collected when equipment is adversely affected by extreme weather and /or technical problems. Some data reported on this site reflects preliminary information that may be corrected after further manual observation and review by Bridger Bowl staff. Automated data is refreshed every 30 minutes.
