Bobcat Ski Day is a HUGE sucess
BRIDGER BOWL'S BOBCAT SKI DAY A HUGE SUCCESS TODAY
The planets aligned on Bridger Bowl today resulting in a record Bobcat Ski Day fund raiser for the MSU's alpine ski team. After receiving 3 feet of new snow earlier this week, local skiers and snowboarders awoke to another powder day with 8" of new snow blanketing Bridger Bowl. The combination of $10 lift tickets, no school for Bozeman middle and high school students and loads of fresh snow on the mountain resulted in near capacity crowds on the mountain by early morning.
It was "the perfect storm" according to MSU Bobcat Alpine ski team coach, Dan Brelsford. After a very successful $10 day on Bridger Bowl's birthday last Friday, the incentive was high for those ticket holders to return for another great $10 powder day. Bridger Bowl had over 4,300 skiers (only 60 visits short of our all-time skier visit record) on the mountain including pass holders and day ticket holders. Today's fund raiser will generate nearly $10,000 for the MSU Bobcat Alpine Ski Team.
Bridger Bowl will also be hosting the MSU Bobcat ski team and the NCAA Championships for the sixth time this March 5-8.
