Record Day Ticket Sales for Christmas
Great early season snow brings record numbers to Bridger Bowl on Christmas day.
Bridger Bowl reported a new record for lift tickets sold on Christmas Day this year. Historically Christmas day is one of the slower days of the holiday week on the slopes. However, this year Bridger broke its Christmas day lift ticket sales by 30 percent with over 1,300 day tickets sold compared to about 1,000 in prior years. These numbers do not include season pass holders on the mountain that day. The biggest days of this holiday ski week usually peak mid-way between Christmas and New Year's Day. The resort expects near record if not record breaking numbers for this year's holiday period.
Bridger Bowl has received over 10 feet of snow since November 1st with four feet falling between December 21st and December 27th. With more snow in the forecast, Bridger should have excellent snow through the end of the year and into 2008!
