Browser Recommendations and Requirements

Bridger Bowl recommends the use of a standards-based, modern browser. Several excellent, free browsers are available for any operating system:
Firefox for Mac, Windows, or Linux
Safari for Mac or Windows

There are known issues with older versions of Internet Explorer, and we recommend the use of Firefox for the best overall Web browsing experience. Regardless of what browser you choose, it is advisable to keep it updated to the latest version in order to receive bug and security fixes. Keeping your browser updated allows you to enjoy all the fast-changing Web technologies while remaining as secure as possible.

In order to experience all the features and functionality of BridgerBowl.com, you should have Flash installed in your browser, Javascript enabled, and accept Cookies. A minimum version of Flash Player 9.0.115 installed will allow you to view a higher quality version of our videos.

Store Help

In order to shop from and purchase items from the store, you must have Javascript enabled, and accept Cookies.

If you are having problems placing your pass order online, please contact orders@bridgerbowl.com and leave your name and phone number. We will contact you the following business day to complete your purchase.

What should I do if I receive an Error message when attempting to purchase an item?

Often, the message will inform you of steps to take to avoid the error. Examples of this may be a dialog box that instructs you to choose a size for an item, or a passholder for a season pass.

If the message is a system error, it is most helpful for you to cut-and-paste the error message, along with a detailed explanation of what you were trying to do at the time, and send these in an email to webmaster@bridgerbowl.com. The Webmaster will address the error, and return the email with instructions as how to proceed.

The online store will not accept my Credit Card, what do I do now?

A. Check to see that you chose the correct type of card, entered the correct number and correct 3 digit code from the back side of your card.

B. Check to see if all the billing information is correct for whomever opened this account. Click into Your Account located on the left navigation bar and check your Billing Information and be sure that it matches your credit card statement exactly. Take note that your personal Pass Holder information and Billing Information are in two different locations in your account. Be sure to Update Your Account at the bottom of the page after you make any changes to your account. If you do not select the Update button, then the system will not save the updated information to your account.

C. Check with your credit card company to see if you have sufficient funds to cover this transaction.

I did not receive a confirmation email after completing my order.

Most often, this is because your email provider has mistakenly flagged the email as spam. If you have a spam or junk folder, look there first, and then manually flag the email as "Not Spam". Sometimes, and email provider rejects the email before it even reaches your mailbox, so you may not have a chance to see the email. You should contact your email provider and inquire about this problem.

If you have checked your spam and/or junk folders, and still cannot find any evidence of an email from orders@bridgerbowl.com, you may contact orders@bridgerbowl.com and leave your name and phone number. We will contact you to help resolve the issue.

About Javascript, Cookies, and Flash

Should you be concerned about these technologies?

Javascript is a program environment which runs inside your own browser, and is restricted and controlled by your browser. As such, it is safe, but you should keep your browser up-to-date to insure that you have the latest and most secure browser. Today's modern browsers tightly control the actions of Javascript programs, and do not allow potentially unsafe or unsecure actions to be carried out. Javscript is used intensively on this site to provide you with a rich interactive experience. If you choose to disable Javascript, you will miss out on quite a few features, and the exciting multimedia offered by Bridger Bowl, but you may still use the site and gather information. It is your choice, but we encourage you to enable Javascript, since it is a proven and tested environment, and offers the great advantages in viewing, interaction, and navigation.

Cookies are simply small strings of text which are stored within your browser, and help Bridger Bowl's site better handle requests from your computer. Cookies are manditory in the store, because the only way for Bridger Bowl to know about your shopping cart is to assign an anonymous identification to your browser. This ID string is stored on your computer as a cookie. There was some abuse of cookies in the 1990's, but they are also tightly controlled by moderns browsers and considered safe. Cookies are not programs, so they cannot run any application on your computer. Cookies may only be read by the site which created them, and Bridger Bowl does not store any personal information in cookies

Flash is another environment that runs within your browser. One difference between Flash and Javascript is that the Flash client runtime environment is a plugin developed by Adobe. It is commonly installed on your computer by default, but in some cases you may need to install it manually. The links on this page and links throughout the site lead directly to such installation, and the process is quick and easy. Once installed, Flash allows for a very rich browsing experience. One great advantage of Flash is that, since it is written by a single company, it looks and acts the same on all browsers, on all operating systems, and is one of the major reasons for its popularity. Flash too has been extensively tested by Adobe, and also restricts and controls the possible operations, which makes it safe to run inside your browser.
