11th Annual King and Queen of the Ridge
Hike/Ski-a-thon fundraiser to support avalanche education in southwest Montana. Collect pledges for one, two or the most Ridge hikes you can do in the five hours of competition. 100% of the proceeds go to the Friends of Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center. Kids and families are encouraged to hike too!
**New This Year: Team competition. A team consists of two or more participants. Awards for team with most hikes and most money raised. Note- can only compete in one category, individual or team.
Pre-registration required by Friday February 15, 4:30 pm. No on-course registration. Entry fee $10 for all participants (half day lift rate available for competitors). If under the age of 16, you must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the event. If under the age of 18 signature of parent or legal guardian is required.
Mandatory competitor meeting will be held in Face Shots on Saturday February 16, 8:00 am.
Awards ceremony at 4:00 in the Jim Bridger Lodge. Awards to the King and Queen, most money raised individually, team with most hikes, and most money raised by a team. Great door prizes!
All participants are entered into the Grand Prize Drawing on March 30. Must be present to win.
